The DogeBonk team held their first AMA (Ask Me Anything) on the r/DogeBonk subReddit on 11/29/21. Below is a compilation of the questions from community members and answers from the team.

Q: How did it all start? What was the reason behind creating the coin and did you have any idea you would start to build such and awesome community?

Ghostbro: this coin has the coolest genesis story. It was originally released back during the may crash and immediately dumped to almost nothing. Justin burned a bunch of liquidity, renounced the contract and hung around waiting for Elon to tweet something about bonking. It was sitting there at $2k marketcap doing nothing when someone discovered it and made a thread on /biz/. A bunch of people joined and it mutiplied very quickly of course. We spent a few days trying to get the coin noticed on /biz/ while constantly getting banned by jannies and found ourselves having a whole lot of fun. We memed our way up past 5m and realised that this wasnt going to be a pump and dump. The ownership was renounced, the liquidity was locked and noone owned more than 2% of the supply — the coin basically had an immaculate conception with no unfair distribution. So a few of us took some of the profits we had made, created a community wallet and started getting organised. Throughout we have had the most amazing, hilarious and intelligent people join us in memeing this thing into reality, it could not happen without all the community members who are there driving things forwards, coming up with new ideas they can enact and spreading the word religiously.

It’s funny though, there has never been a ‘plan’ to build an awesome community, it just happened. I’ve seen this with dobo repeatedly. People love the meme, they love the community and they love the coin and it evolves naturally from that.

Q: What exactly does a renounced ownership on the contract do and how does it benefit investors?

Justin : Renouncing ownership of the contract means that the deployer of the token has no “privilege” anymore to change settings like tax percentage, blacklisting certain addresses from receiving reflection and much more. You can see all functions here: https://bscscan.com/address/0xae2df9f730c54400934c06a17462c41c08a06ed8#writeContract
This is to prevent malicious activities, for example if the private key to the deployer wallet gets stolen. A multi-sig wallet was never an option for us, since the community would have to trust all of their devs to not go rogue. We renounced the contract and now it’s a fully community-lead project

Q: What can we do to get the official twitter account to start pumping out more tweets regularly?

Ghostbro: Thanks for your questions! I also love the memes and everyone in the community. I feel like y’all have become a bunch of online friends, anonymous people I’ve probably memed with my whole life and now finally I’m working with you all, its great! One thing that I have really loved with this coin is how community driven it is.Frankly, the idea of there being a ‘dev’ team is a bit misguided, all of us are just community members who decided they loved the coin and wanted to try and meme it into reality. That’s why you see so much energy, so many billboards, so many ideas floating around and being acted upon! All of us involved in this project love it and do this for free because we want us all to make it!

In my opinion, the need for the main to tweet out constantly is unneccessary — if you are on twittter, you will see the massive amount of community shilling we have and it will only imporve in coming weeks as some partnerships we have recently started begin coming to fruition. But the main of course can be improved. One issue is that the ‘team’ are working on many other things. We are welcome to the idea of volunteers who may have good experience on social media and have shown themselvs to be reliable trustworthy members of the community

Q: How do we become more organized in general? We have a lot of hungry people that want to do stuff but things feel a little chaotic with people going in all directions.

Ghostbro: This is something we are working on internally — just a reminder that we have grown to over 33000 holders in 6 weeks! Noone planned this coin from the beginning, so we are self-organising as we go

Wen lambo?

Ghostbro: S O O N TM (not financial advice)

This is a DogeBonk meme to break the wall of text

Q: How do you plan on gathering more exposure, a concern on my part is the lack of marketing on socials.. we should really be thriving on twitter but there seems to be a real lackluster effort on the account managers part to get a consistent string of tweets out to entice more followers.

Ghostbro: I’m surprised to hear people say ‘lack of marketing on socials’ is a concern. We have grown massively in our social media presence over the past 6 weeks. This subreddit is consistently in the top ten fastest growing subreddits and I see more and more twitter accounts every day. If you mean the main twitter account, we can start to post more, but our main social power will always come from our community.

Q: Is there any data showing the relationship between billboard advertising and crypto value. Or are you just guessing one will feed the other? Have you researched the biggest markets for crypto. Eg Billboard in an English village vs billboard in a major city- have you mapped your marketing techniques against past demand?

Ghostbro: Billboards are good for online exposure and sometimes good when localised. For example we recently placed one outside coinfest in manchester — a cryptocurrency conference, but the one in NYC was more about the impressions and content for twitter and reddit than it was for particularly getting New Yorkers to buy. But to be honest with you, most billboards have been paid by members of the community out of their own pocket. e.g. the Brisbane ads, the sydney ad, the NYC ad, the London ad have not actually come from the ‘team’ they’ve come from the community. Therefore there has not been a grand plan with it so far as it is often chosen by community members who want to give it a go. More and more though we want to go with the crazy stunts that people come up with, it doesnt just have to be billboards — we have a bunch of ideas currently being worked on that some other community members can fill you in on in more detail

Q: Would you consider an advisory board, I have been quite vocal of late- I think myself and a few others could be of benefit to the dev and marketing team

Ghostbro: Putting together a suggestion box is a nice idea — I just want t reiterate though that we cannot as a ‘marketing ream’ enact everything, we need community members to make it happen. None of us our paid to do this and the community wallet is completely self-funded and some can work on it full-time including myself, but we need your time and energy as much as we need ideas! Please try not to think “The dev team should be doing this” and think more “how can I get this to happen?”. Much of the action around this happens on TG and the BonkSquad group where a lot of marketing ideas are shared. Thats a good place to start if you have ideas that you want to help drive

Q: I’ve noticed alot of coins do very very well in comparison to how much advertising they put out. Lately I have seen some billboards with dobo and that is exciting!
My question is, what are your plans for future advertising?

Bonklevoss: Without getting too specific (we don’t want competition to front-run or steal our ideas so this is a reason some things stay semi-private), there is a lot going on behind the scenes in regards to promoting on social media and other avenues besides billboards. Many of the billboards were bought by community members on their own dime. Our growth has been very quick and with that comes the high expectations. Unfortunately a lot of these things take some time to get set up, and in some cases approved.

However, there is definitely more on the way especially in terms of social media presence, continuing advertisements on crypto websites, etc. I personally am also working on a “treasure hunt” that I will be releasing more details on soon. This will involve some nice prizes and should help engagement.

If you have any recommendations feel free to drop a moderator a message or join our /shill group in Telegram where people are constantly discussing new ideas.

Thanks for the question!

Q: Is there a detailed roadmap for 2022?
In addition to this, is there plans to align on the marketing. At present, it appears to a random billboard here or there. Do you think this is a more effective way to advertise than targeting specific areas/times?

Ghostbro: We’re in week 6 of this coin becoming a thing and us all deciding to meme reality. At this stage we have a whole bunch of ideas being developed that will be coming to fruition in the coming months. There are many groups, especially in telegram and discordwhere people are starting to work on stuff. We have video groups for making memes, reddit marketing groups, twitter discussions and talks about all kinds of whacky ideas. As someone who is happy to fund things once they’re being worked on, ideas that are well developed and with someone willing to take the lead ideas WILL get enacted, but I agree that as we move forwards we will need to be more tactical.

bdrum_is_back: Since I help out in marketing

A roadmap is in the making, but being a decentralized community organization takes a bit more time than usual, since you want to set realistic goals achievable through the community, rather than with a top-down approach. The billboards, as ghost said, might appear random, but it’s the end result of them been payed by random Dobo holders, that really what the dobo in their neck of the woods. Also the idea of random bonking is a theme that will always exist, as it really is the spirit of the token. You’ll see more targeted advertisement soon, as many proof of concepts are in the making right now.

Also timing is key, eg the idea of IRL guerrilla marketing through stickers and such is still in its infancy since some stuff (deployment, people doing it, overall approach) needs to be refined.

Can see early 2022 for that type of campaign.

Also merch is in the works, but finding producers, testing materials and overall quality, alongside a smooth shipping experience isn’t exactly easy right now (I’m one of the guys looking into it). But some trial runs and such might happen maybe just to gather data Hell, we could run polls in here to get that information faster.

The biggest issue right now is making the telegram, reddit and discord talk to each other and have a better organization with a open-source approach. If anyone has know-how or ideas to help sort that out, feel free to tell em

Q: What are the main hurdles to listing on exchanges such as Binance and KuCoin? Are reflections an issue?

Justin: The main reason we’re not listed on a lot of exchanges is because they require us to have an actual company. That’s our main focus right and now and probably the reason why there weren’t many announcements (besides billboards) lately. We want everything to be sound and clear.

Bonklevoss: The main hurdle, in my opinion, is getting their attention. Some of them would require an entity to sign a contract, but that isn’t necessarily an obstacle. We definitely have attention of mid-tier exchanges, hopefully these big ones will be next.

The reflections/taxes wouldn’t really matter on these exchanges, in terms of trades executing, as the trades themselves don’t actually execute on chain. When something is traded, they just keep a record in their own database of who owns what. Then when a withdrawal is requested they send it out. So the tax/reflections would only apply to deposits and withdrawals. The exchange’s wallet would receive reflections, but I would guess most of them would pay them out to their users every X amount of days. BKEx does this every 30 days for example.

Ghostbro: The main hurdle is that you need a legal entity (a company or foundation) in order to list on an exchange. This is something we’re working on. The transaction tax can also be an issue if the exchange transfers funds to a hot wallet as this also involves a transaction tax often. This is one reason why we want to wait for a good exchange — it would be difficult to maintain volume on a small one and would not make it easier for your average Joe to buy. The reflections can often be redistributed by the exchange.

bdrum_is_back: On gate.io you need a legal organization, the foundation idea would probably solve that
Kucoin and Binance is more of a waiting game, you probably need at least a billion mc since you are still considered a “memecoin” by the big boys and you don’t have VCs pushing you or CZ already funding behind closed doors

The bigger we become the easier it gets

Q: Do you have day jobs or full time DOBO/crypto?

Justin: I’m “working” full-time for DOBO at the moment

Bonkslayer: I am full-time in DOBO.

Bonklevoss: I work as a software engineer mainly doing contract work. I have very flexible hours thankfully and am hoping to one day work in crypto full time. As for the others, I know some have day jobs and some don’t. They can answer that for themselves if they’d like.

Ghostbro: Some of us have jobs, others WFH and can be flexible — I personally have been fulltime crypto for around 6 months now and have basically fully devoted myself to dobo (50–60 hour weeks when I can) at this point

vvyr: nope. Dobo Maxi.

This is a DogeBonk meme to break the wall of text

Q: Do we have plans for upcoming exchange listings? Is there anything we can do as holders to support that?

Bonklevoss: The main thing you can do right now is help with exposure. The more people that hold and talk about our coin, the more pressure it puts on exchanges to list us.

There have been suggestions for a fundraiser to pay for listings. But, in my opinion, it’s not worth it. I think the time and energy would be better served focusing on the higher tier exchanges that don’t charge listing fees. I don’t see how paying for a listing on mid-tier exchanges would really help us in the short or long term.

That being said, we have interest from and have talked to quite a few different exchanges.

Ghostbro: you need to be showing that there is demand to be listed. Gate.io for example has a page where you can request a listing, and if we have 100 bonkers every day memeing at them and kucoin telling them that we exist then we are more likely to get noticed. Exchanges also give a ton of impressions on twitter if you post correctly. If you’re not on twitter already, you’re needed.

bdrum_is_back: Answering you and the other poster Marketing guy here

Honestly support us on reddit, twitter and now twitch can lend us more attention and make it easier, since the bigger we are, the harder for them is to look away.

And hold honestly, I understand that many aren’t used to dips, but the last ones weren’t triggered much by whales, but rather emotional investors. You’ll get to the point you’ll barely care trust me (held btc on mt gox, yeah….). But if you believe in the community and what you can bring to the community we can become the memecoin juggernaut

On paying exchanges: not a fan, you are paying for minor exchanges that might not add volume or any benefit. It’s cool to tell people exchanges are listing you, but would they do kyc and stuff for a very small one? I doubt, yet that exchange can ask you up to 60/70k upfront with no results guaranteed. They prey on small projects …

Q: What plans have been made to further the coins exposure and what is the target audience that you are trying to reach?

Ghostbro: we have a bunch of content coming out on tiktok over the coming weeks. I don’t want to promise the world, but we are talking with some influencers and getting videos made. Additionally we are improving our twitter presence and have quite a number of mid-sized influencers who will be getting more involved it us.

The target audience is and cryptokidcahaz says below — memecoiners and those who hate them. Many people I speak to describe this is their first memecoin — people buy this because of how silly and funny it is and because they have seen the power of memetics with doge

cryptokidcahaz: The memecoiners and the ones who hates them, also the people on the fence about crypto in general because of all the B’s gimmicks going on.

It’s the best coin I’ve seen that makes a meta commentary on crypto, and that’s also why some pretty notorious investors have namedropped dogebonk in the last couple of weeks.

I’ve seen many people that said this is their first memecoin and they went in because it felt like a genuine community with a genuine outlook on crypto. This feels bullish on its own

Q: How have you all managed to assemble the greatest group of AI bots known to man? Bleep-bloop-bonk!

cryptokidcahaz: Simple. We kill the batman

VVYR : Mescaline and Energy Drinks*

Ghostbro: boop beep bonk

Q: Exchanges, exchanges, exchanges. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED. BKEX was great and all, but it didn’t do much. Can the team please speak to the obstacles of getting not only a BSC coin on a major CEX, but getting a BSC coin that has reflections on a major CEX… while ALSO having a renounced contract??..

If the devs cannot modify the contract since it’s renounced, what is the plan to make it easier for exchanges to list?? Or can we please hear what your thoughts are on how to overcome this obstacle??

SHIB and DOGE weren’t BSC. Safemoon obviously is the black sheep worth mentioning because it’s a BSC with reflections, but it’s NOT renounced. DOBO is. Help us understand what you guys are planning to do to get around this?

Justin: There are already exchanges willing to list us, regardless of our renounced contract and reflections. The only obstacle is that DogeBonk has not legal entity / no company and we’re working on that. That’s why there weren’t many announcements (besides billboards) lately.

Ghostbro: One point I would like to make is that exchanges aren’t NEEDED at this point. Look at the volume on BKEX — thats not where our audience is. Evergrow for example, another reflection token, reached over 1bn marketcap just being listed on PancakeSwap. Also the more time away from exchanges the better as we burn more of the supply and add to the liquidity pool. Thats why our focus remains on getting big exchanges who will be interested in us due to the large amount of volume we have.

The biggest obstacle at this time is that since this was just a random dead coin that was spontaneuosly picked up and memed into reality because we all loved it so much, there is no current legal entity set up, which is a requirement for the bigger exchanges like gate, kucoin, binance etc. This is something we are working on.

Q: Interesting. Do you see that as something that can be done (setting up the legal entity)?

Ghostbro: its being done.

Q: Is social media advertising, using ambassadors and such, a field you are interested in? Why or why not?

Bonktovi: In late October, we paid BNB out of the community marketing wallet to get Travvlad to promote, he’s a zoomer crypto influencer but his posts didn’t really do much for us (botted audiences and engagement). On the flip side, we’ve already attracted bigger influencers such as Arthur Hayes, Co-Founder of BitMex and Dylan Barbour (won season 6 of the Bachelor and is now a cryptobro), who shouted out DogeBonk for free. We are currently working with more Twitter targeted campaigns but we’re open to new channels down the road!

bdrum_is_back: You can do that to a certain degree. On many social media crypto is a grey area and often you rely on influencers that might deliver or not (but wanna get paid upfront)

Working on that too, since it might make it easier for DOBO threads on Reddit to stay there and not getting pruned/404'd by mods for no apparent reason (guess they might want a bag under the table, not the dobo style)

It’s frustrating seen posts booming in various subreddit, with legit engagement, getting removed for no real reason. But you can’t let em win honestly

Q: What to expect for December? Some BONKING Christmas cards maybe to Bonk the fams? Tis the season after all.

cryptokidcahaz: Ha thats a nice idea ! Personally I’m financing a small crew to film a small thing. Not 100% Christmas themed, but 100% dogebonk. It should be ready around christmas

Let’s bonk for Christmas

Q: Hey guys, big fan of the coin and I believe in its potential. The community you’ve built around DOBO is incredible. I’m just curious what the plan is going forward? Any sort of roadmap in mind or is it just bonking and memes till the end of time? Cheers

RadekBonk3000: I think the most exciting part about this crazy experiment is watching it mutate organically. People are stepping up and starting community projects every day.

Someone smarter than me will bring up how they see the roadmap shaping up, but personally I’m going to work on eliminating areas of friction that are limiting people from being creative together.

Q: I joined after someone donated to a hospital. How do we continue that and bonk cancer, bonk aids etc

VVYR: How that situation worked out was a user orchestrated this privately after discussing it within the bonksquad (/shill from main tg to access) to gain opinions and approval. after performing said donation provided proofs back for that group to then utilize. Many ideas have been brought up and fund pooling for targeted ideas with approval from peers. Being decentralized anyones actions are part of the wholes and can be expressed, marketing is additionally used to help fund key initiatives.

Q: Can we keep the pornhub ads going more? That is why I initially invested was because I thought that was such a cool way to get people to invest. It’s also super fucking memey, more so than a billboard. If so what other online sites do you plan on running ads on?

What can we expect from YOU in the future? What’s your timeline? What goes on behind the scenes so we don’t feel so out in the dark and having to ask the same questions?

Ghostbro: lmao we havent done those ads for a while, they were funny as hell. Maybe we should do a few more.

You can expect a lot of stuff to be happening — we have a few influencers coming up but more importantly there are loads of ideas coming up for whacky stunts and cool ideas appearing in the TG and Discord. Some guy even presented his proof of concept for a dogebonk meme generator. The issue at the moment is we don’t want to say to you ‘look we’re doing this’ and then find ourselves answering questions when the person who was running the project finds they have to go do their normal job for a few weeks. The best thing to do is to join the bonksquad on TG where you can start to see all the things going on.

Q: Favorite dogebonk meme?

BONKTOVI: My favourite will forever be the “YOUR MOM’S CREDIT CARD NOW” one.

BONKSLAYER: I liked the one with the bonk

VVYR: theres too many good ones. All the meme competition ones, dobo anthem, concrete shib, floors, toyota corollas, mescaline addicted grandfathers. Its like picking your favorite child.

Q: You’re all obviously holding massive dobo bags. Why haven’t you all just cashed out and left us dorks behind yet? Seems like a nice pay day even if it isn’t a full rugging

BONKSLAYER: My bag ain’t that big, I am smol. Haven’t sold a single one of my bonks though. The reason I’m still here is a really believe in this thing, I know where it can go and I know how hard the team works to get there.

VVYR: Not all of us hold giant dobo bags, I personally interact with many users daily who hold a bigger stack than I and this is the case for a few of us.

Q: Have you any plans to collaborate with influencers? How are the talks with listings going? Any news on the stunt?

Ghostbro: thing are in the works. We only want good exchanges with decent volume — this involves legal enitites being set up which we are working on. The stunt is happening, don’t worry, all will be revealed with time ;)

Q: Any idea why all crypto is green and we are getting smashed

Bonklevoss: We’ve ran up over 10x in the last 30 days. It’s completely normal for retraces to happen before another run. These markets run in cycles. People take profits, new people look for better entries, then run ups happen again. There isn’t a single coin or asset that goes straight up forever.

Q: Hello

Apology for england

If you are doing acoustic event in space How can we able to hear it??

Ghostbro: I’m just imagining the smell tbh

Q: Don’t you think it’s far more productive to pool funds into uniquely autistic stunts and ludicrous billboards (such as the one in NYC) rather than to buy many of them in irrelevant places ?

Ghostbro: there are a number of stunts being talked about on the TG. Many of the billboards so far have been community funded and we have just encouraged people to go do it. We hae wanted this whole thing to be decentralised from the start. I’m just a guy who got in early and is happy to fund this project a bit (Shout out to the marketing wallet — I’m matching everything donated up to 20k — 0x512452924ba143b5ce537E0268aB666F49E5C40c) and so are the people making the billboards, its completely grassroots so of course it is going to be in a bunch of strange places. We have another billboard coming up in NYC paid for again by a community member — maybe if people want to get another billboard up, we should agree to try and do it in one location, but I’m not going to discourage people from putting something up in their local area if they are paying and organising it

Q: Can we have some hopium about that “Dogebonk foundation” rumor that would solve legal issues with some CEX listings ?

Justin: That’s our main priority right now and we’re still working on it, we want everything to be sound and clear. That’s why there weren’t many announcements lately besides ✨ billboards ✨

The billboards will continue until morale improves

Q: The Twitter account is undoubtedly lacking in traction compared to this page. Do you have any plans for it?

cryptokidcahaz: On twitter, we’re aware the twitter account is lacking and we’re in talks to get more people the keys to it, but we need to find the right fit. However, I personally do not believe most of the twitter activity should come from the main, but from all of us, creating Twitter’s and going in. We needs soldiers and boots on the ground. I think dogebonk would be better represented on twitter as a collective of memers and real people just having fun like we do here, but on twitter.

ironically we had the same trouble on Reddit about 3 weeks ago, as it was our telegram that was too active relative to here. Our reddit Community has blown up since then and surpassed our Twitter presence, which was no 2 before.

I think our best bet is to remind folks here they’re part of the team, literally.

Ghostbro: We can work on this and try to find trusted community members with decent SoMe experience who would be willing to put some time in

Q: Any plans to create a merch store on the www.dogebonk.com page?

bdrum_is_back: The merch will probably come next year, with some smaller drops here and there to test the waters. Right now we are looking at how to integrate the merch store, finding producers and comparing prices, time to make the merch and shipping. Not super easy due to the irl shenanigans on the supply chain, but we have some nice ideas. Also designs and such, we really need to find that x factor on the merch, feel free to share any idea.

You might see some stuff in some redbubble shops (like mine) getting folded in the main store, as we consolidate the DOBO presence to make easier for buyers to find stuff and buy it

Ghostbro: We have a group talking about it at the moment

Q: Do you plan on adding new members to the team? (Such as for the Twitter page)

Ghostbro: There is ALWAYS space to do something. On TG there are a bunch of groups with people looking to do stuff and discord has a lot going on too. If you are mostly on reddit you may be missing out on the action — there are many people doing things, we are all part of the ‘team’ if we want to be

Q: About the autistic stunt. We were promised an autistic stunt when DOBO reaches 100 M market cap. When or what the autistic stunt is, is still a mystery. And if it stays a secret I understand that too. Surprises are better when they are… surprises. However in the DOBO Telegram Announcements you said that you have a bunch of autistic ideas the community is working on so…

Is there ONE autistic stunt coming or many? Is one bigger than the rest?

Exactly or roughly when will the autistic stunt take place?

Justin: 🐕📄✍🎈🔝🌎📸⏬

cryptokidcahaz: I don’t even feel like I’m aware of the whole picture, as there’s so many teams popping up left and right, but without giving too much away, some are bolder and more costly, but they’re all interesting on their own. I don’t feel like one makes the others pointless, they’re all adding different flavours or playing on a facet of what we are.

That being said, the list is growing. And some stuff is closer and more concrete now than other stuff. Some simple stuff sometimes get more difficult than first thought for multiple reasons, while some out there stuff just happens.

Q: Is there any way we as a community can actively support the cause besides creating awesome memes and actively promoting Dogebonk on social media?

Are there any plans to involve the community more actively in the future? F.e. vote on marketing decisions, integrate community menes more prominently into the website, hold (meme?) contests etc.

RadekBonk3000: I’m helping BonkTV run the video contest, did you get a chance to participate in that one? We’ll be doing more meme contests on different platforms and using the entries in future advertisements and content pieces. I’m very excited about the idea of decentralized content that we can use our infrastructure to put up in the real world, we just have to polish some workflows to make sure it’s as easy as possible for creators.

Bonklevoss: There are currently meme contests as someone has mentioned. If you’d like to get more involved in the marketing, you can do so on our Telegram group that is focused on that aspect. Just pop into the general telegram and type: /shill for the link to that group. We are open to any good ideas and suggestions you may have.

Q: Who is floors Morrison?

Justin: He sold $5k worth of DOBO in early October which caused the first major dump. His tokens would be worth millions now.

VVYR: egotistical early whale. missed out on doge or something in the past because they didnt hold. stated they wouldnt mess up this time. sold like 27T for 5k shortly later, causing the splash right before DOBO took off. potentially no longer on earth.

Q: Hi, are you planning to dox yourselves at some point? From what I understand that’s currently a bit of a barrier to getting on cexs? Cheers.

BONKSLAYER: We are actually in the works of creating a company that would act as our legal entity to allow us to apply for listings with cexs much more easily. Preferably no public dox hahaha, I think we all like our private life’s private. Thanks for your question, bonkbro!

Q: Can you get someone famous to hype our beloved dobo?

Bonklevoss: We’ve had the CEO of BitMEX mention us in their blog and on his several times. A co-founder of ZCash posts bonk memes on Twitter. Joi Ito, an MIT professor and Venture Capitalist that has interviewed Obama at the White House has also tweeted about us. As well as some other bigger twitter accounts. This project has only been going for about 6–7 weeks now and we’ve already gotten attention of these types of people.

We are currently working on more social media outreach too. Especially on Twitter!

Q: Can we get into the gaming and meta verse trend? Is it possible for this type of coin?

Ghostbro: I kind of disagree with your view that we need utility. Gaming, metaverse etc…these are all buzzwords, memes if you will. Will people actually use (or will the teams actually make!) these NFT platforms being set up by all these other meme coins? I doubt it, and I find it quite dishonest and cringe a lot of the time. The reason dogebonk will succeed is because we are literally a meme. A meme with great tokenomics. Safemoon does not require ‘utility’ past what it already does as a good source of passive income with a rising price floor, so why does dobo need to be different?

That being said, often with networks the utility comes after the fact. E.g. Doge is similar in that they were just a meme, but through the power of their community, they developed a large enough network and following to get IRL businesses interested in accepting doge and billionaires to tweet about it. This emerged after the fact, and I’m sure that utility will be found, such as by this guy working on the meme generator. Remember that this is community and network rather than a team, so if you want to create something that creates utility then go for it!

Dogebonk is the blank canvas on which you can paint your dreams

Q: What is the meaning of locked forever liquidity?

BONKSLAYER: It means that the liquidity pool can never be accessed by anyone ever. Outside of its intended function to provide liquidity for transactions so that there doesn’t have to be a person on each side of every transaction, basically acting like a buffer.

Justin: Liquidity is giving your tokens value. If you sell 1 BNB worth of DOBO, 1 BNB will be taken out of the liquidity. To ensure that none of the devs pull the liquidity — and basically making your tokens worthless — most of of the LP (liquidity provider) tokens (which claim ownership of the liquidity) were sent to the so called “zero” address (0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000). So basically only the “zero” address would be able to pull 95% of the liquidity now. It’s locked “forever”, because no one expects to find the right seed phrase to the zero address any time soon. (For the very rare occurence that someone really finds the seed phrase to the zero address and somebody tries to sue me: this is not financial advise 😄)

Q: There have been discussions on a meme NFT generator. Is this in the works by chance?

VVYR: Concepts are in the works. understand that people would like more “usecases” for dobo. half of the fun of dobo is making fun of all these other memecoins and their lame copy and paste usecases, so the concept of NFT implementation is tough, but not forgotten and is actively discussed within the community and potentials in the works but as of now its something for later.

Q: How much BONK needs to get BONKed to BONK DogeBONK to the BONKing BONK? At the BONKtual rate we’re BONKing, I think we’re BONKbound to BONK right past the BONK and BONK amongst the BONKs.
